In 2023 we had a workshop for children and young people. Everyone was writing poems about generations. Here are four of the poems and a note about the people who wrote them. These poems will be in our new anthology on the theme of generations.
Four generations poems by kids
Here’s a poem written by a whole bunch of Mana College ESOL students. They’ve written lots of incidental poems, but for this poem, they took an idea (my perfect house) and each student wrote 2 or 3 lines. Then they put all their tiny poems into one long poem. It was published in More than a roof (Landing Press 2021).
