The Time Machine : Poetry through the Eras

Explore time travel and poetry! Write poems that include 4 words from a list, then produce your
poem using materials from the eras – typewriter, quill pen, charcoal, recording – your choice!
Then see your work displayed in the Newtown Library. Everyone who writes a poem gets a prize,
and all writers go into a lucky dip for a ticket to the launch of Landing Press’s newest anthology,
along with copies of our past books. The workshop will be led by Riah Tahana-Dawson, librarian,
writer, imaginator, and altogether inspirational person.
